Implementation of precision cancer medicine and economic evaluation for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) – what are the challenges and how do we address them?

FOCU.SE is an initiative by Testbed Sweden Precision Health Cancer, founded by Vision Zero Cancer, Genomic Medicine Sweden and SciLifeLab, involving regulators, policymakers, payers, researchers, healthcare providers, patient advocates, and industry to drive the implementation of precision health in cancer care.

Testbed Sweden for Precision Health in Cancer is a system demonstrator of how to introduce concrete precision medicine activities into the Swedish healthcare system in a way that is sustainable and just.

In 2021, Vision Zero Cancer, Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) and SciLifeLab joined forces with public sector authorities, regions, healthcare, academia, industry and patient associations to create an innovation hub that facilitates the introduction of more precise prevention and treatment in cancer care.
